Safety in Car Carrier Transport

In car carrier transport, proper placement of vehicles on the carrier and securing them for the duration of transport is extremely important. Many regulations must be followed in this regard. Securing cars properly requires at least two people. Vehicles should generally drive onto the carrier front-first, always with the axle containing the engine, to properly balance the front part of the transporting vehicle.

The vehicle must be secured with transport straps. The straps must be certified and attached to at least 3 wheels, preferably all 4 wheels of the carrier. The most common types of car carriers used in transport are:
