This type of trailer is designed with increased capacity, which is why it’s most commonly used to deliver large-sized loads. Its special construction ensures the necessary stability of the cargo, even in the most unpredictable and challenging conditions. This kind of vehicle allows for fast, convenient, and safe transport, without the risk of damaging the goods during delivery.
A lowered suspension and frame allowed the use of a taller frame structure. This positively affected the increase in cargo space while maintaining the height limits allowed for this type of trailer. Multiple and complex tests confirmed that these changes preserved the vehicle’s stability and ensured the highest safety standards for transport.
Mega trailer – what you should know?
The key difference between a mega trailer and standard trailers is the size. A standard trailer is around 2.75 m in height, while a mega trailer is 3 m high.
For most orders, we use so-called tarpaulin trailers, also known as “curtain siders.” Their load capacity is 24 tons, and the volume is 100 m³. This vehicle and its body structure offer a valuable advantage – loading from the top, sides, and rear, which makes it perfect for transporting tall, bulky cargo.
Vehicle dimensions: 13.5 x 2.45 x 3 m.
These vehicles can be used to transport loose goods as well as palletized or bulk-packaged cargo. The sliding and hydraulically lifted roof and rear doors ensure efficient loading and unloading.
