Frozen foods are most often transported by road, which allows efficient supply chain organization and optimal shipping conditions. The key challenge is maintaining a stable temperature, as even small deviations can negatively impact the safety and quality of the food.

According to current guidelines, deep-frozen goods must remain at a stable temperature of at least -18ºC. Only short-term fluctuations of up to 3ºC are allowed during transport. Each opening of the trailer must be documented with a current temperature reading.
